Witty observations about local culture, hostel life, historical sites, transportation, cuisine from a journalist-wannabe. (These were originally e-mailed to friends and family. Though, with mass e-mails often ending up in people's spam boxes these days, I should have posted directly to this site.)

The picture at right was taken in Brussels' central market square. Earlier that day, I spotted an escargot vendor. Didn't check to see what kind of condiments were offered.
